Baked chook thighs are a delicious and very simple main dish. Chook thighs have so much taste and of direction darkish meat is so fairly gentle! They are perfect served alongside mashed potatoes or scalloped potatoes.

Cook dinner up a large batch to feed a hungry crowd, add in your preferred selfmade hen noodle soup or freeze the leftovers for any other meal. Oven baked chook thighs can live frozen for as much as four months. Just thaw and then wrap in foil for reheating.

Hen thighs are sold with bone in and skin on, or boneless and skinless. They're dark meat making them greater flavorful, they include more fats which ensures they bake up succulent and engaging. Thighs are extra forgiving than bird breasts which can extra easily be overcooked.

On this recipe, i pick out skin on (because it tastes terrific and makes the chicken extremely juicy). As with any meat cooked at the bone, this has lots of flavor. I like the use of bird seasoning or italian seasoning on this recipe, but sense free to change it up to suit your flavor buds!

For the juiciest oven baked bird thighs, pick bone in and pores and skin on. The skin crisps up properly, and the bone imparts greater taste at the same time as maintaining the meat moist. A high temperature enables crisp the skin (my favourite part).
